Design: Architects Holst & Tengler

Both Søren Holst and Henrik Tengler have a lot of experience with designing furniture for public spaces. Søren Holst works with design both as an architect and as a teacher at The Danish design School in Copenhagen. Henrik Tengler is known for his furniture, especially tables and chairs for offices and conference environments.
The RIB plinth is made from a T-iron profile as the structural element which is the base for the seat surface. The seat is made from transverse wooden ribs held in place by two through-going steel rods.
RIB is designed for use both outdoors as well as indoors and is available both as bench (with backrest) or as plinth.
